Religious Studies Minor

A minor in religious studies consists of 18 hours of religion courses. A maximum of 6 of the 18 hours may be counted from the following approved courses taught outside the department: AH 330, 332; Anth 308, 312, 314, 323, 327, 404; Clc 327; Engl 372, 427; His 319, 337, 356, 374, 375, 385.

A grade of C or higher is required in all courses applied toward the minor.

Religious Studies Honors Society Requirements (Theta Alpha Kappa)

  • Completion of at least 3 semesters at the University of Mississippi
  • Completion of at least 12 hours of Religious Studies courses
  • A GPA of at least 3.5 (B+) in Religious Studies courses
  • An overall GPA of at least 3.0 (B)
